NPCA Busan 1st Place Winner Park Soo-hyun: “Aiming for Asia Pro in 2027”
Even for athletes displaying sculpted muscles on the bodybuilding stage, the most difficult moment is, paradoxically, the most ordinary everyday temptation. When asked about the toughest challenge this season, Park Soo-hyun—who dominated the stage by decisively claiming first place in his division at the recently held ‘NPCA Men's Physique Open’ and ‘NPCA Busan’ competitions—smiled and shared a relatable confession: “Resisting the savory smell of bread wafting from bakeries whenever I walked past was more painful than anything else.” Competing in his primary division, Men's Physique, Park Soo-hyun showcased a solid frame and detailed muscle conditioning, earning high praise from the judges. Yet, even with two championship trophies in hand, he remains hungry. Regarding his thoughts on the competition, Park revealed his strict standards for himself, stating, “Without resting on my laurels, I will build an even more polished physique for the next stage so I can have the poise to enjoy the stage itself even more.” Putting the joy of victory behind him, Park Soo-hyun's sights are already set on higher ground. When asked about his future plans, he expressed grand ambitions with burning passion, saying, “In 2027, I will definitely become an NPCA Asia Pro.” Expectations are high to see whether the perseverance that conquered the sweet temptation of bread and his sincere dedication to the stage will propel Park Soo-hyun onto the 2027 Asia Pro stage.
