Kim Do-il, whose main division is Men’s Physique, proved his worth through unwavering conviction toward his goal. His answer regarding the most difficult part was surprisingly calm. In his words, "I believe nothing is hard when you have a goal and a dream," the mindset that carried him through each and every day is clearly revealed.
The results on stage did not betray that belief. At the 2025 NPCA Daegu Men's Physique stage, Kim Do-il placed 1st in his class to earn 3 additional points, reaching an accumulated 10 pro points to secure his NPCA Physique Pro Card. Reflecting on his long journey, he shared, "My goal was to turn pro this year, and I lived each day with an earnest heart to achieve that goal." It was the fruition of setting a goal and aligning his life with it.
However, his sights are already set on what lies ahead. Kim Do-il clearly stated his future goals: "Entering the TOP 3 at the 2026 NPCA Pro show, and earning a Pro Card in the NPCA Classic Physique division." At the same time, he conveyed his determination not to settle for his current achievements with the pledge, "I will become an athlete who improves every year."
He chose earnestness to turn his dream into reality, and he answered with results. Kim Do-il's challenge is not an end, but a beginning. Now on the pro stage, he is quietly yet steadily walking toward another goal.
