The year 2025 was also one where I grew mentally, and there were never any major struggles." This single statement clearly shows the attitude with which he pushed through the season.
The results are also proven by the numbers. Throughout 2025, Son Jeong-bin earned a total of 4 pro cards and competed in 8 shows within just two months from October to December. On the natural federation stages such as ICN, NPCA, and WNGP, he proved his versatile competitive edge by earning pro cards across three divisions: Classic Physique, Bodybuilding, and Classic Bodybuilding. Although he achieved results across such varied stages that it is difficult to define him by a single division, the stage he picked as the most memorable was the WNGP Classic Physique, as it was the moment he confirmed his best-ever physique and stage presence.
His season management was equally impressive. After earning pro cards across two federations by November 2, he initially chose to wrap up his season, but decided that state was not his 'best.' Rather than feeling exhausted, regret and ambition took over, leading him to extend his season by another month and achieve a satisfying finish at the final competition on December 13. A diet spanning nearly a year and eight actual stages left him with vast amounts of data, and above all, gave him full confidence that his aesthetic physique on stage is a powerful weapon and asset.
Now, his gaze is set much further ahead. Planning a two-year off-season with his current coach, Son Jeong-bin expressed his goal to return in an even stronger form to challenge the 2028 BOB and NPC Natural Pro Qualifier. His ultimate goal is clear: "2028 IFBB PRO and BOB Grand Prix."
Son Jeong-bin has always used a positive mindset as his weapon. Built upon an unwavering attitude and accumulated experience, his next season is already quietly in the works.
