A Time of Focus That Overcame Obsession: What Na Min-oh's Debut Season Left Behind
For Na Min-oh, the 2025 season was a time when the process left an intense impression even before the results. Reflecting on himself, he cited "an obsession with every single action" as the most difficult aspect. From the timing of his protein intake and his daily step count to whether to add more cardio, along with worries about muscle loss. He placed pressure on himself over every single decision that might seem trivial, and that tension gradually turned into stress. There were even moments when the effort to build his body ate away at his peace of mind. Nevertheless, he did not stop. This season was the first one he had ever prepared for. By himself, he completed workouts before heading to work, split up his break time at the workplace to train again, and carried on with training after work to wrap up the day. These were times he spent preparing alone without anyone's help, but that also meant every result was entirely his own. And the results were undeniable. In 2025, he earned 2nd place in the NPCA Ansan Short Class, the NPCA Seoul Grand Prix, the WNGP Gimpo Grand Prix, and 4th place at the WNGP Finals, culminating in earning a Pro Card. These were results that felt almost undeserved, belying the fact that it was his debut season. Looking back on this season, Na Min-oh shared his thoughts: "I prepared really hard, and receiving such huge results compared to that effort made me feel extremely proud." His primary division is Men’s Physique. In a division that demands balance, detail, and complete stage presence, he is carving out his own direction. Rather than being satisfied with the present, his vision for preparing what comes next is even clearer. His sights are already set on the next season. Na Min-oh plans to make BOB and the NPCA Super Series his main stages in 2026, and if his physical condition improves further, he also intends to challenge the NPC Natural Regional and Pro Qualifier. He sums up that goal in a single sentence. "In 2026, I will bring a better physique and produce better results." He did not break under obsession, and because he was alone, he became all the more resilient. Na Min-oh's debut season has come to an end, but his journey has now begun in earnest.
